PATHFINDER - Workplace Policy

1. Non-Personal Talks
 

To maintain a productive and professional work environment, we encourage employees to minimize non-work-related conversations during work hours. While brief and occasional social interactions are acceptable, extended personal discussions can disrupt workflow and distract others.
 

2. Safety at Workplace
 

PATHFINDER is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and individuals present at the workplace. All employees and visitors are expected to comply with safety regulations and procedures, including but not limited to:
 

  • Reporting any unsafe conditions or hazards immediately to a supervisor.

  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

  • Following proper procedures for handling equipment and materials.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
     

3. Indemnification
 

PATHFINDER agrees to indemnify and hold harmless its employees from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to their employment with PATHFINDER, except to the extent that such claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses are caused by the employee's gross negligence or willful misconduct.  
 

Clarification: While PATHFINDER supports its employees, it is important to understand that this indemnification does not cover actions taken by employees outside the scope of their employment or those resulting from personal choices or misconduct. Engaging in activities that violate company policies, ethical standards, or the law may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
 

4. Employee Professionalism
 

All employees are expected to maintain a professional demeanor and conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on PATHFINDER and its flagship IP, ROHFIT. This includes:

  • Treating all colleagues, clients, and visitors with respect and courtesy.

  • Communicating effectively and professionally in both written and verbal interactions.

  • Adhering to the company's dress code and maintaining a neat and professional appearance.

  • Protecting confidential company information.

  • Using company resources responsibly and ethically.

  • Maintaining appropriate communication channels: To ensure clear and documented communication, personal conversations with higher levels of management should be avoided on informal platforms. The preferred and official mode of contact for such matters is email, to be used only when necessary and for work-related purposes.

  • Prohibited Items: To ensure a safe and productive work environment, the possession or use of harmful substances, weapons, or any contraband is strictly prohibited on company premises or sets. Any violation of this policy will be subject to investigation by the HR department and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
     

5. Communication Policy

To streamline communication and enhance collaboration, PATHFINDER is transitioning to the following platforms for all work-related communication:

  • Discord: For general announcements, team discussions, and project updates.

  • Slack: For real-time communication and quick exchanges within teams.

  • Notion: For project management, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
     

Dedicated groups or channels will be created shortly on these platforms. All employees are expected to join and actively participate in these groups.
 

Effective immediately, all WhatsApp groups related to PATHFINDER and ROHFIT will be dissolved.
We encourage all employees to move their work-related communication to the designated platforms.

6. Policy Acknowledgement

All employees are required to acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this policy.
